The sixth edition of the MILANO MUSIC WEEK - the Italian week dedicated to music and its protagonists promoted by the Municipality of Milan, Assomusica, FIMI, Nuovo IMAIE and SIAE - ended on Sunday 27th November with an extraordinary participation of generalistic public and professionals.

This year more than 30,000 attendances were registered at the appointments signed by the Milan Music Week, including meetings with artists, music talks, concerts and DJ sets. More than 70 hours of meetings involving over 100 artists and many music business operators. Added to these are the events organized by the content partners included in the MMW program which took place throughout the city of Milan for a total of 300 appointments.

An audience of all ages and lovers of different musical styles interested in current themes and future scenarios who met in symbolic locations and live clubs in the Lombard capital including Apollo Club, Santeria Toscana, YellowSquare Milan, Arci Bellezza, BASE Milano and many others.

A rich and articulated program, with the artistic direction of Nur Al Habash (director of the Italia Music Lab Foundation), who received the baton from the historic curator Luca de Gennaro, and was joined by the special curators Italian singers Colapesce and Dimartino. A schedule that has been able to satisfy any musical taste with proposals of all kinds and interesting debates involving players in the supply chain - artists, authors, managers, technical promoters, representatives of record companies, publishers, training centers - focusing on current issues and future scenarios.

An appointment in which the Italian music industry meets by creating new connections, in which fans can get to know their idols more closely and in which the public, which comes from all over the country, immerses itself completely in the world of music business and entertainment.

Great participation in the Music Talks which took place mainly at the Apollo Club and were divided into thematic days: on Monday there was talk of the future of the music business, on Tuesday of new technologies, on Wednesday of Music Export, on Thursday of the relationship between the entertainment sector and the Policy and Fridays of Sustainability, Equity and Social Responsibility. The week of meetings ended on Friday 25 November with the TV presenter Amadeus as a special guest. The Milan Music Week Music Talks represent a fundamental part of the official program and will present analyses, research and direct experiences, thanks to the participation of industry experts, artists, journalists and companies, to examine the changes taking place and hypothesize future scenarios.

The main workshops were held at YellowSquare Milan and involved a young audience approaching the world of music, with insights dedicated to approaching the world of work, opening a label, organizing a festival, discovering of the roles of manager, A&R and booking agent, and the practices regarding the deposit of a song and the operation of related rights.

To inaugurate the week of Music the unique performance from the terrace of the Mondadori Megastore in Piazza Duomo by Andrea, Matteo and Virginia Bocelli, exceptionally together for the first time in Italy and who previewed some songs taken from their first album together "A Family Christmas".

Great response from the public also for the meetings with the artists who kicked off with an important preview, in collaboration with the Mondadori Store, which featured Tiziano Ferro at the Manzoni Theater.
